First off, welcome to NACMA, this is a community that really shows how small our industry is.
- Join in the discussions and start a few too. You can learn so much from others and others can learn from you too!
- Make sure to post promotions, t-shirt designs etc. under best practices and look through other posts to spark new ideas.
- Join as many of the live webinars as you can. They’re always filled with great information and you’ll learn something new.
- Go to the NACMA conference as early in your career as you can. You’ll make some of your life long friends in the industry at the conference and it’s always nice to finally put a voice and face with a twitter handle.
- Make sure you fill out your mentee/mentor profile and request a mentee/mentor. This is a great resource to utilize and the new setup allows you to ask someone you’ve looked up to from afar or someone with a similar background/interests to mentor you or be your mentee.
