Fall is coming early for coffee lovers.
The first 500 customers at the original Dunkin’ Donuts location will receive a free medium hot or iced pumpkin coffee, the restaurant said Wednesday. There will also be other pumpkin-themed giveaways for the early birds.
In honor of the Canton-based chain’s 65th anniversary, the restaurant is hosting “Pumpkin Peeks” celebrations at six locations across the country. Locally, morning joe and treats will be passed out starting at 7 a.m. at Dunkin’s original location in Quincy, at 543 Southern Artery. If you are traveling, other sites include Santa Monica, Calif., in honor of the one-year anniversary of Dunkin’s return to the West Coast.
Dunkin’ Donuts was founded in 1950, and now has more then 11,400 restaurants in 39 countries. According to Brand Keys, Dunkin’ Donuts is ranked number one in customer loyalty in the coffee category.
