I was promoted to Deputy Athletics Director at Western Michigan University in May of 2025, after originally joining WMU as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations on April 11, 2022. In my current role, I oversee all external areas of WMU Athletics, including marketing, promotions, ticket sales, communications, Bronco Productions, sponsorships, and other revenue-generating projects, along with selected sport supervision responsibilities. Since 2020, I’ve also been honored to serve on the NACMA Board, where I currently hold the position of 2nd Vice President.
Before returning to WMU, I spent eight years at the University at Buffalo. I joined UB Athletics on November 4, 2013, as the Senior Director of Marketing, charged with marketing the entire athletic department, and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing in July 2015, eventually becoming the Associate Athletic Director of External Relations. During my time there, I oversaw marketing, promotions, and ticket sales. In the 2018–19 season, our external team exceeded football and basketball revenue goals by 19% and 80%, respectively. We also delivered six of the top 15 largest crowds in men’s basketball and five of the top 15 in women’s basketball, boosting overall attendance by 35%.
My connection to WMU dates back to 2008–2013 when I served as Director of Sports Marketing, responsible for marketing and promotion of the Broncos’ 16 athletic programs. Before that, I was at Northern Illinois University, where I earned my Master’s Degree in Sports Management. At NIU, I worked as both a graduate assistant and later as Assistant Director of Marketing, contributing to marketing efforts for all 16 athletic programs, with a primary focus on women’s basketball, volleyball, and baseball.
Before transitioning into athletic administration, I was an assistant women’s basketball coach at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, from 1998–2005. While at SJC, I also served as intramural director and as an instructor in the physical education department, teaching psychology of coaching.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in human movement science in 1998 from Transylvania University, with a minor in psychology. At Transylvania, I was a four-year letterwinner in both basketball and field hockey, a two-time NAIA Kodak All-American Honorable Mention, team captain in both sports, 1998 Female Athlete of the Year, and 1998 Field Hockey Most Valuable Player. That same year, the Lexington branch of The Women’s Sports Foundation recognized me as the Outstanding College Sportswoman of the Year. I was inducted into Transylvania's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011
