Nicole Imbrogo, SPM 2008, started as an internship placement coordinator in Sport Management in July 2016. Previously, she held a similar position at the University of Memphis in 2015-16, where she worked as an instructor in event management, venue management, and social media commerce, in addition to advising and mentoring students through field experience opportunities and their Senior Capstone.
Imbrogno spent seven years working as a marketing and promotions professional at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the University of Memphis, and Duquesne University.As a director of marketing and promotions, Imbrogno was the 2012 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators(NACMA) $1000 Idea Award Winner, won several NACMA “Best Of” Awards, and served on the NACMA Young Professionals, Programming, and Professional Development committees.She also had the opportunity to serve as the game producer, floor manager, and band/spirit squad liaison for three NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament sites. Imbrogno continues to stay involved in the sport industry as the game producer for the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Conference Championship.
In Sport Management, she will advise students, help students secure internships and work with seniors throughout the Capstone process.
